We asked the question and you answered: what are local businesses to support that help take items off your traditional grocery list? So many restaurants and bars are stepping up to offer diverse options that meet people’s needs where they are. Every day, the @tofoodies home feed is alight with creativity. Also, many local food service businesses are continuing to serve their communities and/or are even pivoting to accommodate all the new intricate demands that happen when your customer base and service model completely changes. While we wish the current pandemic circumstance was not happening and that businesses did not have to be this creative to survive, ToFoodies feels that it is necessary to shine a light on the places who are doing what they can to feed people and provide comfort to so many. Hot Tip: If you get into a groove of a different, focused food delivery each week (one week meats & proteins, one week for produce delivery, etc. etc.), you can limit your trips to the actual grocery to just once or twice a month.
